As is often the case, we only get a day or 2 off at a time, and as usual its all a bit last minute. This weekend was no exception.
We went to Porthcawl for the morning on Saturday so I could have an hour or so SUP surfing.....and then fully battered by the largish waves (for my low ability) I drove us to our favourite free park up at Fresh Water West.
Its a bit of a slope, but nothing a couple of leveling blocks wont sort out (Thats not really true...its still on a slope, but not quite so bad. There is one van there regularly parked with the front wheels on a set of Car ramps.
Its such a quiet beach, that we both find it instantly relaxing....so just chilling for 24 hours with some of the best views is good enough for us.
Cant wait for it to warm up a bit so we can get back down for our weekends.
